About me

Hello, I'm Andrea.

I'm a mother of three, a midwife, and the founder of Abide Birth Collective.

After becoming a midwife in my forties, I had the privilege of walking alongside many women and families during pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. Through those experiences, I came to recognise that while women receive clinical care throughout their journey, many are also seeking something more — time to prepare, space to explore their options, and personalised guidance as they navigate one of life's biggest transitions.

Abide Birth Collective was created to provide that care.

My focus is on helping women and their partners prepare for birth, understand their choices, and approach the journey into parenthood feeling calm, informed, and supported. Through personalised birth preparation, practical education, and nurturing postpartum care, I help families create a foundation that feels right for them.

I believe birth is more than a single day. It is a significant life transition that deserves thoughtful preparation, compassionate care, and support that extends beyond the birth itself.

Whether you are preparing to welcome your first baby or adding to your family, my hope is that you feel heard, respected, and cared for every step of the way.

I would be honoured to walk alongside you during this special season.
